How it works
This freelance project (in cooperation with FH Joanneum and Komptech) consists in redesigning existing user interfaces for composting machines used in the agricultural industry and produced by Komptech GmbH (Austria). The display and its hard keys are the central control system for the entire machine. The specific assignment was to design an understandable surface of this control system. The aim of the project was to identify application problems by usability testing and to propose a design solution to improve the existing interface. During this phase our team had the chance to perform a design process from user testing to implementation.
