Project Info:
Challenge
Show patients the benefits of a future health system.
Outcome
Neko is a medical application that anticipates the future scenario of the German health system and enables accessibility for patients to their own health data.
How it works
Neko uses the recorded health conditions, gathers information about medicine and individual medical treatment, in order to enable the accessibility for doctors as well as patients to their data.
Neko handles with inescapable topics in the future, considering the needs of patients by supporting the handling of ever increasing data. The application has the purpose to structure the data into sensible sections by visualisation in an understandable way. It shows that accessibility to one‘s own data is an important step to build confidence for the user. Furthermore this project sets the user in the centre of the analysis to obtain for him the most benefits out of the health system. Due to the fact that the health system depends on the patient and vice versa, it is important that he feels comfortable and safe in the network. The understanding that the German health system has not the capacity to satisfy every single patient in all his wishes became clear after the research. Based on this, the idea came to design a tool support the patient in his needs.
